We are working with a Private Nursery in Gerrards Cross, to recruit a Baby Room Leader with a minimum of 12 months experience as a Senior Nursery Nurse or Room Leader. This is a opportunity to join an leading and successful Nursery, with Good Ofsted and great career Opportunities in terms of gaining further qualification and support into more senior roles.

The Nursery has a capacity for about 70 children in total aged 3 months to 5 years old and in this preschool room they have 14 children. We are looking for a strong, confident and friendly individual who can demonstrate excellent leadership qualities.

If you hold a Level 3 Early Years Qualification and looking for a Nursery Room Leader role that is rewarding ad progressive, then this may be the right opportunity for you.

**Room Leader Duties include but not limited to**:

- viewing planning sheets and record keeping of all the staff in your room
- Ensuring routines are being followed and run smoothly
- Ensuring new decisions are taken on board and maintained in the room at all times
- Ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed by all staff
- Being an excellent role model to the other staff in your room

**Room Leader Skills/Qualifications**:

- Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Childcare Qualification
- 2 years’ post qualification experience
- Relevant childcare qualifications in accordance with OFSTED guidelines
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS
- Empathetic, caring and friendly
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude
- Patient
- Proven supervisory and coaching experience
