Man Up/ Forklift Operator

**Hands on team member responsible for the Receipt, Storage, Stock Count Sorting and Provision of Products in an 850-pallet storage Warehouse**

**Health & Safety Purpose: To take a direct responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities**

**Specific Responsibilities**
- **To be responsible for the control of stock in an efficient and productive manner without service failures.**:

- **To ensure that stock is picked and issued according to plan meeting quantity and quality expectations**:

- **To ensure that all equipment meets safety expectations and certification, where applicable, including forklifts, pallet trucks, cages, pallets, stillages, shelving and racking.**:

- **To ensure that all material handling equipment perform an equipment defect check according to the agreed schedule.**:

- **To understand all risk assessments and Safe Operating Procedures and ensure that all operatives comply with them.**:

- **To maintain the warehouse and yard areas in a safe and tidy manner which is clear of rubbish and obstacles and any external storage is in a designated area only.**:

- **To ensure that the Warehouse Management System is used effectively, ensuring that stock records are accurate.**:

- **To be responsible for monitoring and controlling stock levels, stock count completed in timely manner and reported**:

- **To ensure that the security measures in place on the contract are fully adhered too in relation to not only site access but also the ‘directed party status’ secure area.**

**Previous Experience / Qualifications Required**

- **Warehouse Management System Use**

**Forklift licence is required, Man Up licence desirable**
