**About The Role**
We are now recruiting for a Security Guard to join our Security Team. The role is** **based in our Hereford Office.
Reporting to Security Team Leader in this role you will be part of the team responsible for securing the whole allpay site to the highest standard and in line with PCI DSS requirements.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors, external suppliers or contractors to allpay Limited providing excellent customer service and dealing with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
As a Security Guard, some of your key duties will include:
- To patrol the allpay Limited premises and to maintain a presence in the CCTV control room to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the physical security of the buildings and immediate surrounding area.
- Challenging and dealing with any unauthorised personnel on site in a professional and courteous manner.
- To respond to fire and intruder alarm activations, or reports of criminal activity and investigate disturbances.
- To develop and retain a clear understanding of the PCI DSS requirements, implementing appropriate operational activities and agreed changes that are necessary.
Some of your additional duties will include:
Providing ad hoc out of hours support, be trained in the use of the intruder and fire alarm system, act as trained first aider, fire marshal and defib operator, and to become a key holder for the Company.
**About You**
You’ll demonstrate to us that you have:
- GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Appropriate qualifications and memberships relevant to the role, preferably trained to licenced S.I.A level.
- Excellent customer care awareness and ability to deal with the public.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, and associated legislation.
- Good Microsoft Office and IT skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both orally and in writing, and make clear informed decisions under pressure in order to resolve any given situation.
