General Manager

I am looking for an experienced Store Manager/Area Manager to join a large, global brand at their outlet store in Cheshire Oaks, in the role of General Manager.As General Manager (GM), you will act as the CEO of your store, driving desirability and toplineperformance. As GM, you will ensure every client walking through the door is treated as a VIP using the company's “5 C’s of Service Excellence”, creating the ultimate expression of a luxury lifestyle shopping experience. As General Manager of this large outletstore in Cheshire Oaks, you will be expected and empowered to cast and develop top talent to create the next generation of ambassadors. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Customer experience
- Responsible for ensuring each employee delivers the 5 C’s of Service Excellence to every client. “CREATE, CONNECT, CONVERT, CLOSE, and CONTINUE”
- Ensure every client that enters the store is treated like a VIP by providing an experience unique to the company

**People & Development**:

- Responsible for the hiring and development of store employees, creating dynamic/ diverse and powerful teams throughout all store departments
- Coach and mentor all employees to achieve optimal results
- Responsible for building strength for future talent, as well as succession planning for current store employees

**Merchandising & Presentation**:

- Provide consistent feedback to buyers and planners identifying all areas of opportunity
- Understand and place a high priority on respecting and upholding presentation standards, consistent with the company's desired image and character
- Ensure store environments are set up to be the silent sales associate in the store, telling compelling and inspiring stories of who you are as a brand

**Store Operations & Inventory Management**:

- Responsible for achieving store shrink goals and for maintaining and implementing both new and existing asset protection procedures
- Direct the execution of all strategies and programs, assuring that they support company sales, marketing, and profit objectives including gross margin.
- Establish and uphold all store processes and procedures

**P&L Ownership**:

- Responsible for the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators ( KPI’s) relating to customer experience: conversion, UPT,SPH, ADT and customer shop scores
- Ensure effective people and development systems are set up to drive employee engagement. Key metrics are internal and time to fill rates, employee engagement and enablement scores, and turnover rates
- Manage selling expenses and achieve payroll percent targets
?As a successful General Manager for this large, global brand, you will be an experienced Store Manager/Area Manager within the fashion and/or luxury sector.You will have experience looking after high head counts (100+) and high turnovers.Ideally you willhave a good understanding of the Cheshire Oaks outlet however, this is not essential.You will be dynamic, commercially aware and no stranger to challenges.
We are looking for someone with 5 years of retail management experience, someone with a strong business acumen.An enthusiastic individual with the ability to build and maintain an environment consistent with the company lifestyle philosophy.You will havethe ability to guide and mentor individuals toward achieving their targets and goals, motiving staff, helping them to development their skills and acting as a role model. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity to this role.
