**THE COMPANY**
Maltaward is a thriving and successful construction equipment supply company, based in Faygate, West Sussex. We are looking for an **Administrator**to join our successful and established administration team.
**THE ROLE**
The role of **Administrator**is reporting to our General Manager and supporting the existing team managaing the day to day tasks in the administration department. We are looking for an individual who wants to build on their previous administration/office experience but is also looking for career development as we will want this person to take on additional responsibility from our management team in the future.
The key **Roles & Responsibilities** for the role of the **Administration** include:
- Creating new hire and sales contracts
- Completing new customer credit checks
- Raising purchase orders
- Assisting with Invoicing and credit control as required
- Filing and general office administration
- Answering the phone and taking customer enquiries
- Ensuring accurate costing information is tracked and entered on Sage
- Monitoring subcontractor compliance, insurance, training and safety compliance is up to date
- Monitoring and ensuring appropriate training courses for employees are approved, booked and completed
- Monitoring and maintaining records for submitting annual certification for CHAS, Constructionline and safety audits
- Maintaining and tracking team holiday allowance and coordinating leave
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
**Educational Attainment**
- Good level of education in Maths and English
**Professional Experience required**:
- A strong background in office administration
- Experience in a Plant Hire / Construction company advantageous
- Ability to adapt and learn in-house IT systems
**Technical Knowledge required**:
- MS Office skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with Sage advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
