Tezlom are a leading and expanding Healthcare Recruitment Agency, established since 2008. **We Require**: - **Qualification**:_ - NVQ 3 Diploma or QCF Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or in Residential Care or equivalent, along with at least two years’ experience in a residential setting. - **Experience**:_ **.** A background in Nursing or providing complex care would be a great advantage. - Trainee nursing would also be advantageous. - Ideally you will have Support Work experience of working with children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities, Autism, ADHD, sensory impairment, and associated behavioral challenges and/or complex care needs - **Skills/Abilities**:_ **.** A strong commitment to care. - Excellent Communication skills - verbal and non verbal service users. - Working knowledge of, following, and working to Care Plans. - Experience of Conflict Management and dealing with difficult situations - The ability to work effectively during high pressured situations As a Support Worker for a Home for "children and young people "you will be supporting and giving high levels of care to children and young people with severe and complex care needs, Acquired Brain Injury, complex learning disabilities and associated behavioural challenges. As a support worker, you will assist the management team in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to children and young adults. Your role is also vital to the progression of a children and young people. A support worker encourages the children in our care to develop new skills and to be the best that they can be. You must be incredibly sensitive to the needs of those in your care. This role is ideal for Support Workers who are looking for new opportunities, working up to full time hours on a flexible basis. Rates of pay for all Children Support Workers range from £12.82 - £14.01 per hour **(including holiday pay**),with an increase for some bank holiday shifts.
