To support this mission, the Farmplan sales team are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to lead the day to operation of the Farm Sales Team based in Ross on Wye at Farmplan's Alton House Office.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Team Leader will be supporting a team of Sales Executives who are responsible for selling to new and existing customers across the Farmplan software solutions portfolio. The team leader will also be expected to take a hands-on approach with selling and be a key and active member of the sales team.

Specifically, the Team Leader will do the following:

- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the sales team ensuring rotas and schedules are in place.
- Actively engage with new and existing sales prospects, preparing quotes, accepting orders and closing sales.
- Respond to inbound customer contact.
- Drive new, upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the team.
- Wok across departments including product development, customer success and marketing to align and support departments.
- Have a deep knowledge of the Farmplan software solutions.
- Liaise directly with the Sales Manager and Business Director to support the business strategy and ensure it is understood and supported across team members.
- Be responsible for team line management including individual reporting.
- Compiling progress reports, reporting on statistics, and using data to track and monitor progression towards targets.
- Identify and support team needs and requirements.
- Supporting individuals’ development, progression, and career needs.
- Provide feedback and encouragement.
- Be a key go-to figure within the group.

- Knowledge of agriculture/keenness to learn the sector.
- Excellent CRM management skills to drive sales processes and reporting.
- Interpersonal and team working skills.
- Demonstrate best practice and lead by example.
- Proven sales skills.
- A deep knowledge of the Farmplan products.
- Fulltime position on a hybrid working model.
- Be able to travel and support the sales operation at shows and conferences.
