We are recruiting for **Graduate Teaching Assistant (English)** for our client Secondary School in Liverpool.

Satis Education require dynamic and enthusiastic **Graduate Teaching Assistants. **The role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant is a varied and flexible role, every day being different to the others. Whether you are looking for a part-time or full-time role, we would love to hear from you

**Graduate Teaching Assistants role** to include:

- Provide supervision of classes across the English curriculum in the event of the absence of the Class Teacher (planned/unplanned)
- Supervising the pupils’, ensuring engagement and are on task in the work set out by the class Teacher
- Creating a safe, positive, supportive classroom environment
- Confidence to manage a class of mixed ability pupils’
- Provide feedback to the class Teacher on pupils’ achievement progress and return feedback to the pupils’ under the guidance of the class Teacher
- Ensure all school policies are adhered to relating to child protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person

**To join Satis Education and work in our client schools as a **Graduate Teaching Assistant**, you will**:

- Have experience of working with the 11-16 age group
- Be flexible, creative, patient and have a sense of humour
- Have an Enhanced DBS (on the update service)
- Have a CV covering your last 10 years of employment
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- An overseas police check, if applicable
- Two references (covering the last two years)
