Quality Protects Children Ltd has been working for over 19 years within the Northwest, specialising in providing a range of services to support looked after young people aged 12 - 18 who often present with complex needs. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, innovative and outstanding **Teaching Assistant role.**

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Teaching Assistant to work for Lawrence House School, which is an Independent school attached to the company based in Huyton, Liverpool. Not only is this a rewarding and fulfilling position but it helps you educate children who are vulnerable and need your help to realise their potential. We operate across five school sites, which cater for young people with a diverse range of complex needs, such as SEMH, neurodiversity and trauma-related behaviours

You will work within our exciting and bustling school utilising the excellent support systems in place. We have established teams on hand to guide you through experiences within each setting including home managers, lead teachers, clinical psychologist and mental health practitioners. You MUST possess a Teaching Assistant qualification.

You will work on a one-to-one basis or with small groups with a maximum of 5.

You will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a passion for teaching and learning.

The duties and responsibilities detailed within this advert should be supplemented by those accountabilities, roles and responsibilities common to all classroom teaching assistants (HLTA’s).

- has a Teaching Assistant qualification
- has a strong and resilient character.
- enjoy working with smaller nurture groups to help boost attainment.
- have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Ideally, have experience working with SEND/SEMH students.
- has a calm and understanding demeanour and innovative engagement techniques

*Salary between £18,160 - £19,698 depending on experience
- 50 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- A 8.30-4.30pm working day

**Salary**: £18,160.00-£19,698.00 per year
