**Duties**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu ideas and creations to keep the business growing and keep things fresh and inspiring for our customers
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in food production is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as required

We are a small team in a premises seating 20. This more than doubles in the summer months with outside seating so we deal with a constantly changing environment. We make gelato fresh on the premises so that attracts a higher footfall in the summer which creates much more demanding shifts during this time of year. We need people who can deal with a change of pace with ease, and who thrive in a busy environment, whilst also being motivated to be productive during the quieter periods.

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 36 per week
