**Job Summary**

We are excited to announce we are looking for a maternity cover Service department administrator/Receptionist to support us at our Dumfries Honda site for 6 months. This is a temporary role, with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to permanent position.

**As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for**:

- Receiving customer enquiries by telephone and person and arrange to book their vehicle into the workshop.
- Delivering high levels of customer service in sometimes challenges circumstances.
- Gathering technical information and relay it in a way that customers will understand
- Recording accurately vehicle information, refer to service histories and effectively follow-up and prospect customers to secure repeat and incremental business.
- Meeting goals and objectives laid down Management team.
- Advising and recommending appropriate Services and Products.

The right individual must be professional, well presented, confident and driven to work with the team on the front desk and workshop to hit and exceed targets.

Grierson & Graham Honda are one of the longest-serving Honda Dealerships in the UK. The position advertised is based at the Dumfries showroom and is full-time (Mon-Fri 830-530). The is a requirement to work the odd Saturday morning (900 -130 and this is on a rota basis with the rest of the admin team, and it is paid at time and a half).

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

The right individual must be professional, well presented and confident.

The Applicant is required to have a full UK driving licence.

Whilst previous experience in a similar role would be preferred, we are looking for someone who we feel will fit into and compliment our existing team so will consider those who have proven customer service experience in other fields.

They will need to be computer literate and driven to work as part of a the Service team in a busy Car dealership.

There is an obvious element of sales within the role, so confidence in recommending and advising customers of the various products & services is paramount.

Full training will be given on all areas of the role.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
