**Why should you join this team?**

Average retention for Field Service Engineers within this team is 7 years, this is largely due to our client having a focus on their employee's mental wellbeing, career progression and job satisfaction.

An example of their focus on the wellbeing of their engineers, as well as safety on the road, is their target commutes to be a maximum of 2 hours for site visits and their efforts to adjust start times based on the time to commute to the site (9am for within1 hour, 10am for 2 hours, for example). On occasion you may be required to go further, however support such as accommodation will be offered.

A typical workflow from fault reporting to you attending site would be as follows:
- Client calls in with problem,
- Admin team will take the call, offer 1st line support and report via ServiceNow,
- Ticket evaluated by support team/2nd line to try fix remotely,
- Technical Engineer organises which engineer goes to site according to their skillset and time considerations,
- You will get the ticket, details of the fault, previous visit notes, ticket evaluation and what to do for further support if needed on site. Additionally, if required, equipment will be couriered to site ready for your arrival.
Furthermore, the role has a great progression path with 5 different grades for the role and 6 monthly conversations to track your progress and help you progress to the next scale.

- Completing paperwork for each job attended.
- Ability to detect faults with AV and video conferencing systems to a high level.
