**Activity Support Assistant**

Role location: Manchester, Greater Manchester

Starting date: Immediate

**Salary**: £1,350-£1,600 p/month

Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

**We are seeking to recruit a highly committed, motivated, and child-centred activity support assistant to work in one of our busy and thriving Manchester Primary Schools.**

Empowering Learning are working with a Primary School based in Manchester who are looking for an Activity Support Assistant. The school provides outstanding schooling for children with a range of educational needs. Each young person’s set of needs requires a unique approach. Our teachers work alongside the children to help support and progress their individual capabilities into academic success, as part of a holistic and uniquely attentive educational strategy - and all of this from a setting that is truly inspiring to both pupils and teachers.

This Manchester school requires an activity support assistant who is an excellent team player, can work successfully with young people with challenging behaviour, has high expectations of others and has the ability to work on their own initiative.

**We are looking for someone with**:
Experience of working with children/young people

The ability to communicate effectively with children and staff members.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £375.00-£425.00 per week
