The Housekeeper is responsible for delivering a high level of cleanliness/upkeep for all front, and back of house areas. The central purpose of the role is to clean allocated areas throughout the day, in accordance to the set standard/expectations. Each resident is to be afforded with a unique service experience, and every request is to be completed promptly, decisively, and with grace - always adapting, continuously improving.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Consistently provide, for all stakeholders, a sincere, courteous, bespoke and prompt interaction.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs, including asking questions to better understand preferences - reading non verbal communication cues, and acting on them, whenever possible.
- Continuously following up on requests, and reporting back; ensuring that all requests are processed, and expectations are always met, and when possible, surpassed.
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Adhere to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations and departmental procedures and policies.
- Work closely with other team members in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the cleanliness satisfaction of stakeholders; steering to the overall success of the organisation.
- Instructing new starters - taking part in the induction process, ensuring that all concerns are communicated to the Operations Manager.
- Having a complete understanding of the different cleaning products, and their economical use, ensuring the appropriate cleaning materials are used in accordance with set standards/H&S policies.
- Ensuring that all operating equipment is regularly cleaned, well maintained, and in a proper working condition; reporting all malfunctions to the senior managers and/or Engineer on site.
- Recognise/respond appropriately to any situation which has the potential to jeopardise the safety, security and well-being of the organisation and all its stakeholders.
- Perform a bi-hourly Thermal & Fitness Suite inspection/duties program consisting of; pool PH testing, leisure area/equipment contamination check, temperature and H&S checks.
- Attend all mandatory training provided by the organisation in order to provide a professional and effective service to all of our stakeholders.
- To carry out ad hoc duties as requested by the Senior Managers.

**HEALTH & SAFETY**
Be aware of, and conversant with the ‘Health and Safety at Work Act’, complying with the regulations set down to ensure the safety of our stakeholders. Record all accidents and incidents according to Principal Tower’s H&S Policy. Attend fire lectures and drills in accordance with the law, and to be fully aware to the position of fire alarms, emergency equipment and exits. Never to perform work you are not qualified to do, or have not been properly trained for.
