Night Transport Supervisor

We now have a vacancy for a hands on Night Transport Supervisor to join our friendly team based at Warmsworth, Doncaster, preferably for an immediate start.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Night handover from days transport team
- Driver de-brief
- Night shift drivers briefing
- Traffic management through the night
- Reporting discrepancies/late running etc
- Keeping traffic system up to date
- Morning Handover to days transport team
- Nightly yard and trailer checks
- Replenish diesel in refrigerated trailers
- Weekly vehicle check to ensure company policies are being adhered to

**Person Requirements**
- Experienced transport operator/planner within the transport industry, ideally within road haulage
- Some warehousing experience would be beneficial as some trans-shipping is required throughout the night, although this is supported by our warehousing team
- Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Organised, able to prioritise and multi-task
- IT literate, competent in Microsoft packages
- Self-motivated, flexible and confident

**Hours**
- 12 hour shifts on a four on four off rota basis.
