**Overview**:
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Network Engineer Level 4 Apprenticeship

Custodia Technology is looking for a Network Engineer to train and work within their Technology Call Centre, you must have a degree in some form of IT computing and have the aptitude to want to learn and take on a new challenge.

Custodia Technology are prepared to invest heavily in your training, any Microsoft technology experience will be a bonus, but you will be trained in Voice Recording Systems such as NICE or Verint. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual.

**Main duties**:

- You will be trained in supporting enterprise IT server infrastructure, Windows server environment
- You will gain experience in supporting global enterprise scale IT solutions and administration, installation and management of Windows 2012 -2016, SQL Server, Active Directory and virtual environments (Level 2)
- You will be able to quickly grasp technical details, as you will need to convey / explain to both technical and non-technical audiences

**Desired skills & experience**:

- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to convey complex requirements / instructions / solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences with the correct level of detail
- Excellent English written and spoken (other languages - advantage)
- Ability to independently evaluate and task priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Always delivers on commitments, on time and to a consistently high quality
- Any knowledge of IP & Trading Telephony environments, Storage (NAS, SAN & WORM technology), IP networks (VoIP, Routing & Firewall), Virtualization and SQL Databases (MySQL or MS SQL) would be a bonus
- Any IT Certifications on industry leader vendors, e.g. Windows, VMware, Cisco, etc.) will be a bonus

**Entry requirements:**

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

- An A-Level in ICT
- OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT
- OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)

**Working week**:
Network Engineers will be working shift work which changes every 4-5 weeks, working weekends and bank holidays.

It equates to 40 hours per week, with breaks in between.

**Future prospects**:
The role offers long term security and the opportunity either progress onto further / higher apprenticeship training or gain a permanent position.

**Important Information**:
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
