Operational Planner

Due to volume growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an operational planner to join our team at Cottage Farms Horsmanden, Kent.
Working as part of a team of 3 reporting directly into Operations capacity / planning manager the role is to ensure the correct management of stock allocation to production orders ensuring customers’ orders are processed correctly using two stock management systems (fresh ware / Prophet) Attention to detail is a key part of this role as you will be managing numbers and various varieties / SKU’s of product
The ability to plan production / grading jobs in the most efficient way ensuring the control / allocation of labour to jobs is managed to budgeted packing costs
Full training will be provided, however previous experience in this field will be a distinct advantage and will take preference when recruiting for this position
Main responsibilities of role
- Processing orders using prophet and freshware
- Attention to detail and accuracy - Checking stocks, consignment / order reconciliation
- Setting up and allocating production jobs
- Ensuring correct allocation / rotation of stock for the grader, production lines
- Labour control - allocation of labour to production jobs / managing production rota and allocation of holiday ensuring workforce hours are accurate
- Allocations of stock processed for customer orders
- Ability to react to changes in orders in calm calculated manner whilst communicating details and executing plan changes
- Correct allocation reconciliation of job sheets / grading statements
- Tray / juice bulker / bin stock order reconciliation planning collections and distributions
**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
