Furniture Delivery Driver

Half Price Furniture Warehouse, based in Lichfield, is the biggest Midlands Furniture outlet and has been running for over 20 years.
We are looking to recruit a Furniture Delivery Driver / Operative to join our family run business.
Pay - £12.50 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Hours - Monday to Friday 43 hours per week
Monday and Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9.00am - 6.00pm

Duties will include:
- Transporting stock from the warehouse into the showroom, working with the sales team to display furniture in store.
- Packaging sold goods and transporting them from the showroom to the warehouse ready for the delivery teams.
- Preparing goods for the day, including checking orders, organising stock and loading the delivery vans.
- Checking and assembling goods in the warehouse ready to be transported and displayed in the showroom.
- Unloading / collecting stock and customers orders ensuring all goods are stored correctly.
- Driving locally and nationally to deliver and install furniture to customers whilst providing an excellent customer experience.
- Maintaining the warehouse / delivery vans, ensuring they are kept clean and tidy at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Valid UK driving licence
- Proven experience of driving a 3.5T van / van delivery driving
- Ability to lift heavy goods and work in a physically demanding environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 43 per week
