**We are looking for a Yard Assistant for our expanding Builders Merchants in Bognor Regis.**:
Gardner & Scardifield is a local family owned Builders Merchants, Electrical Wholesalers and DIY Suppliers based in Lancing, but operating throughout Sussex. We have a long and fascinating history of circa 100 years, and have been under current ownership since the 1970’s.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Support the organisation of the yard and deliveries, keeping the yard in good condition
- Showcase stock knowledge and an enthusiasm to help the customer
- Support stock management of the branch, ensuring proper procedures are followed
- Excellent customer service skills
- Merchandising of stock throughout the branch
- Help other drivers with their deliveries, loading and unloading stock

**Qualifications and Skills**
- An enthusiasm for teamwork, to work hard and learn is essential.
- Drivers licence is required
- Forklift licence is beneficial
