**Job Description**:
Pertemps Exeter are recruiting a trainee furniture builder for our client based on the outskirts of Exeter. You will become part of a small, experienced team who design and manufacture high end, bespoke sofas and chairs. Our client works with local interior designers to create the perfect piece of comfort for each individual space. The goods created end up all across the world.
You will be learning the trade from experienced furniture makers over the course of the year, you will specialise in either Frame Making, Cutting or Upholstering.
As this is a trainee position the salary is based on experience.
About you:
You will be ready to learn
You will need to be practically minded and be able to work from drawings
Confident using equipment such as nail guns, cutting machinery etc
Due to the nature of the position, you will be required to lift goods so will need to have the ability to do so.
You will be on your feet for long periods of time.
If you are successful you can expect to receive:
Full and extensive training
Weekday work only, Monday to Friday
Early finish on a Friday
Free parking
20 days holidays a year + all bank holidays off
To work in a aircon serviced building
