Oxford Health NHS Trust have an exciting opportunity for a full time Family Therapist, to join the BaNES CAMHS Getting More Help Service. This is a unique opportunity to join a creative and innovative CAMHS team. The role will have a focus on being part of TEDS (The Eating Disorders Service) and will also include working as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Based at Temple House in Keynsham, which is situated between Bristol and Bath, you will offer family therapy routine clinics, family therapy complex case clinics, offering consultation, taking part in research and the development of the family therapy provision.

You will also offer clinical supervision, support the development of junior staff, support trainees, take part in the duty rota, care coordinate a case load, contribute to peer supervision and complete both routine and urgent assessments.

To provide a qualified systemic family therapy service to the clients served by BaNES CAMH service. Providing consultation, supervision and support to other clinical members of the team who provide family-based care and treatment is key to this role. You will also be required to work alongside the Consultant/Lead FT who is based at BaNES. To work with the Eating Disorders clinic, offering family based treatment (FBT) and to contribute approximately once per year to the Banes-Swindon-Wiltshire (BSW) wide Multi Family Therapy group (MFT is a 4 day group, 3 days follow-up). This role requires high levels of autonomy, working within professional guidelines. You will exercise responsibility for the governance of family therapy practice within the service/team and utilise skills for audit, policy, service development and research.

- New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.
