**What your typical day looks like**:
- Taking charge of autonomous clinical assessments, treatments, referrals, and providing advice to first-contact patients across a diverse range of clinical conditions through direct contact consultations.
- Excelling in communication, both verbal and nonverbal, establishing rapport with patients and caregivers. Making confident decisions and communicating them effectively, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Recognising and initiating where appropriate advice of relevant specialisms.
- Maintaining appropriate clinical records in line with current practice guidelines.
- Working effectively as part of a multi professional team in collaboration with other members of the service.
**To be a successful Clinical Practitioner you’ll need**:
- To be a Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), a Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Evidence of autonomous practice - Autonomous practice A33
- Level 6 or 7 clinical examination module
- Level 6 or 7 minor illness module
- Motivation, passion, positivity, resilience, and a determination to provide outstanding patient care.
- Extensive clinical experience working within an Urgent Care environment as part of a multi-professional team
- Right to work in the UK
