We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our catering in the Whitby, Scarborough and Ryedale area.

Business insurance and car essential, traveling in the area covering sickness/vacancies and assisting the area manager with inductions/training of new staff

Full training will be given, uniform provided

We have an opportunity to join our catering team where you will be providing tasty, nutritious, home-cooked meals made from locally sourced fresh produce

We are recruiting a peripatetic Cook (Area Supervisor)

As a Peri you will be delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety.

Covering sickness and vacancies

Your role will require you to prepare, cook and serve meals to pupils and staff as well as other kitchen management duties such as supervision of staff, ordering of food, stocktaking and administration, setting out and putting away dining furniture, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas.

Training new staff, carrying out inductions and assisting the area manager with her role

As a valued member of our hard-working team you will be reliable, dependable and committed to providing healthy wholesome dishes, working typically 8.30am - 13.30pm totalling 25 hours per week over 5 days. Depending on meal uptake. No weekend work You will work term time weeks only however you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. For this you will be paid £10.21per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement

Car and business insurance essential, you will also be give a mileage allowance for your traveling
