Industrial Cleaner

**CONTRACT TYPE: 2 MONTHS FIXED TERM**

**SALARY: £13.09 PER HOUR**

A vacancy has arisen for an Industrial Cleaner, to join our team within our contract at Staythorpe Power Station.

The Industrial Cleaner role exists to provide cleaning. This will consist of housekeeping duties (sweeping, emptying bins, filling up eye stations etc) also Winter cover for gritting and removal of snow.

Hargreaves Industrial Services provide a facility service to our client at Staythorpe Power Station. We provide both industrial and office cleaning to site as well as waste and pest control and cover the internal stores on site.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -_**

Light Industrial Cleaning, preferably experienced but not essential.

Assisting in areas of industrial cleaning to a high standard

Completion of paperwork required

Attend training sessions as required

Any other related duties as requested by the manager

Promote and adhere to good safety habits, risk assessments and methods of work

To ensure that personal protective clothing is always used where necessary and kept to the agreed standard

To report all accidents and near misses to site contact and line manager and ensure appropriate records are made by completing the required paperwork

To ensure all equipment and store cupboards are clean and tidy and meet COSHH requirements

To ensure wet floor and other relevant cleaning signs are used appropriately

Site safety induction training

Hargreaves safety induction training including Drug & Alcohol screening

Comply with all site golden rules, safety instructions and procedures

Risk assessment training

Manual handling training

COSHH awareness training
