GATES AND RAILINGS are seeking a Welder / Fabricator to join our team. This position will be responsible for welding, cutting, assembling, and fabricating metal parts. The position will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

**Duties**:

- Cutting: Cutting is the process of removing material from a mold or pattern by using a saw or other tool.
- Assembling: Assembling is the process of joining two or more pieces of metal by using heat, bending, twisting, or cutting.
- Maintaining a clean work environment: This includes using proper hand tools and safety equipment such as wire strippers and gas torches.
- Installation of products made

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Must be able to read drawings (including scale drawings) to determine job specifications.
- Must be able to follow job specifications in writing and on graphical displays.
- Must be able to follow job specifications in oral communication with others.
- Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.
- Must have good mechanical aptitude and good electrical aptitude.
- Must be able to follow verbal instructions and written instructions at a rapid pace while paying close attention to detail.
- Must have good organizational skills while also being flexible enough to multi-task between day-to-day responsibilities and orders that may come in during the workday.
- Must be able to operate Fork Lift.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

- Fabrication: 2 years (preferred)
- MIG welding: 2 years (required)
- WELDER FABRICATOR: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- ENGLISH (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
