Facilities Maintenance Co-ordinator

Do you have experience working in **Facilities**? Do you have experience completing **general maintenance** and **organising contract work**? If you’ve answered yes, then you could be the right person to join the **Facilities** team at our **Kings Hill **office, ME19 4UA on a **part time basis, Tuesday & Wednesday**
**What you can expect as a Facilities Assistant**:
- Salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience & pro-rota for part time
- Permanent
- Office based - occasional travel to our London Office
- Part time - Tuesday & Wednesday

This role is a** hands-on role**, and you will be responsible for a range of activities within the Facilities arena. You’ll be involved in carrying out **practical tasks** such as **painting and decorating**, building desks, office chair repairs, weekly fire alarm tests, water temperature checks, to name a few
**Other key responsibilities include**:
- Working closely with our contractors ensuring all activities are completed safely and in a timely manner
- Support maintaining the PPM schedule.
- Ensure all general maintenance duties are completed and documented within prescribed timescales.
- Support the RAMS process (incl. assessment of and filing)
- Understand and adhere to the Cabot policies and procedures.
- Support with and promote Health, Safety (and Wellness) standards and practices.
- Complete the Cabot monthly and Annual H&S Audits, carrying out any remedial actions where applicable.
- Assist with routine Risk Assessments and any remedial actions required.
- Support the DSE assessment and the Accident reporting processes with furniture relocations or adjustments etc. when required.
- Requirement for Ad hoc out of office hours for contractor works and/or project requirements
**We are looking for someone with**:
- Previous facilities maintenance experience preferred but not essential.
- Someone with hands on and practical experience
- Experience working with third party clients/customers preferred but not essential.
- Good communication and computer skills (Excell/Spreadsheets/ Word/Outlook)
