Trainee Makeup Artist

**Overview**
We are looking for a talented professional who would like to gain an official qualification in makeup artistry. This role will begin as a bookings administrator full time, and then after the 3 weeks probation is complete you will become a full time trainee makeup artist.

Beauty and Glow Preston started as a one woman business, running a makeup studio from her spare room, we have now moved to a fast and busy paced salon where we've been given the ability to hire multiple staff.

The qualification you will receive is a Level 3 in Beauty Therapy - focused full on Makeup Artistry. You don't need to attend any college days as the owner is a provider and examiner.

Previous customer service experience is essential, salon and/or telephone work is desirable but full training will be given.

**Responsibilities**
- Consult with clients to assess their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on makeup styles and products.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and products are sanitised and ready for use.
- Stay updated on the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with contemporary looks.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Assist in promoting makeup services through social media platforms and other marketing initiatives.
- Booking appointments through several different communication links (telephone, Facebook, instagram, TikTok and website).
- Must have experience within a customer service role.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for beauty trends.

Pay: £10.50-£14.29 per hour
