We are currently recruiting for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join the Procurement team, to support the on-going development of the function ensuring continuity and quality of the procurement service to the business.

Our Procurement Department provides procurement support on projects across the business. We are constantly evolving and need to be flexible with day-to-day activities.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

- Manage and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure development of the procurement activity
- Provide procurement support to all functions of the business
- Manage vendor portfolio and vendor creation
- Ability to review detailed cost and challenge it
- Provide procurement support on tenders
- Maintain procurement system within ERP System (IFS)
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure on time delivery for equipment and services

We are looking for:

- A BSc or Masters (or equivalent)
- CIPS qualification (minimum level 4)
- Experience in negotiation and/or purchasing
- Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems (IFS preferred)
- Experience within Pharma or Biotech or similar regulated environment (preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of GMP and Lab environment (desirable)
