**Learning Support Assistant** required for a secondary schools within Stockport area on a permanent basis, there are x4 opportunities for Learning Support Assistant to work within a learning provision in a mainstream secondary school. The recruitedLearning Support Assistants will be recruited via TES to transfer onto a direct contract within school. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be working one to one basis with an individual pupil.

The Learning Support assistants are required within Stockport will be to work within a learning provision in a mainstream school and is a really good challenge for someone with experience alongside behaviour, who is looking for further their experience andgather new challenges.

Schools are seeking Learning Support Assistants to be part of a forward thinking, innovative team. You will be required to work both on a 1:1 and small group basis supporting the pupils in all aspects of school life. Experience and knowledge of working alongsidestudents with learning difficulties, and SEMH conditions is essential.

The school has high expectations of both its staff and pupils and manages pupils’ behaviour with exceptional skill and great sensitivity. This leads to a happy productive working environment for all. The school are seeking an individual who can embrace thisway of working. The school have a high success rate offering permanent contracts to LSA’s who get on well within their department.

This role will include various tasks such as:

- Supporting individuals to complete set tasks within the classroom.
- Promoting independence within the school environment.
- Leading activities 1:1, under direction of the teacher.
- Supporting pupils to achieve their individual education targets
- Working in partnership with teachers and other LSA’s to provide a stable, positive environment for learning.
