Education Training Hub Administrator

Hours: 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday (part-time will be considered)

Rate of Pay: £11.13 per hour

Job Summary:
Southport and Formby Health Ltd is a local healthcare company, run by the local GP Federation, that specialises in the provision of primary care clinical and support services. Our main focus is supporting primary care services and helping to develop and grow the workforce of the Primary Care Networks (PCN) we serve.

In line with our vision and values, Southport and Formby Health Ltd holds NHS contracts for the PCN Extended Access Service, and Community Cardiology service and has contract with Health Education England (HEE) to provide the Sefton Education Traning Hub.

The role of the Education Training Hub Administrator is a full-time position (although part-time positions will be considered) and will provide administrative support to Sefton Education Training Hub, across the following business areas:

- Support Sefton Training Hub team to bring together education and training resources from HEE to community providers and local authorities.
- Support the Education Hub Clinicians and Manager to understand, influence, support and lead educational interventions.
- Support Southport and Formby Health Human Resources Manager in all training aspects
- Support the Sefton Trainers Groups meetings and development.
- Link in with the core functions of the Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub.
- Support Training Placements across Sefton.

The job responsibilities of the administrator include but are not limited to:

- Provide clerical and admin support to the Training Hub Manager in raising the profile of all funding opportunities and placements in primary care
- Schedule and organise meetings and venues/on-line links for internal and external meetings including agendas and other resources where appropriate
- Prepare minutes and action points from the Training Hub and Cheshire & Merseyside admin meetings
- Support clinical leads in the timely completion of assigned actions
- Liaise with the PCN Manager, practice managers and teams across our Sefton demographics
- Create and update content for a cloud-based intranet system (TeamNet) which is used to communicate to company staff and GP practice staff across the Primary Care Network and Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub
- Manage the TeamNet account to ensure users are correctly set up with access rights
- Coordinate primary care student placements in Sefton by providing a point of contact for students, placement practices, Health Education Northwest (HENW) and universities
- Provide information updates from HENW to placement practices
- Keep up-to-date records and liaise with the finance department relating to student placements, HENW and placement practices
- Assisting the Trainers Group Support Manager with job allocations; sending communications to trainees, helping to input and monitor the posts.
- Liaising with trusts about allocations and with PC24 for Out of Hours
- Reading the excel master spreadsheet of tracks and trainees’ posts
- Organising venues for teaching, helping to manage the organising of teaching and attendance lists and feedback questionnaires
- Assisting the Finance Officer with invoicing duties
- Undertake any other additional corporate duties appropriate to the post as requested.
