**The Role**
1. Co-ordinate the Researcher Development team's annual programme of courses, events, competitions, and activities for postgraduate researchers, providing an efficient and positive attendee experience, including booking and preparing rooms, scheduling, managingattendance, communication of pre and post event information, and problem-solving issues that may arise on the day.
2. Be the Researcher Development Team's key point of contact for providing appropriate, accurate and sensitive advice and responses to Researcher Development queries arising.
3. Assist in the accurate and timely completion of the Researcher Development's annual reporting cycle, and ad hoc reporting requests by keeping accurate records of delivery, attendance, and evaluation data for each initiative of the development framework.
4. Act as Lead Timetabler, liaising with Space Management and Timetabling and other user groups, including but not limited to the College Graduate Schools, to manage room bookings for the Researcher Development Hub in the ARC Building
5. Liaise with external course and event providers, arranging course dates, and supporting procurement and financial processes as required by the Researcher Development Team.
6. Support the Researcher Development Team to maintain accurate team documentation, course provider lists, mailing lists and other communication channels, and communicating with appropriate teams, departments, and services to achieve this.
7. Liaise with the appropriate departments to ensure that the Researcher Development team remain compliant with university procedures and policies are followed accurately, for example, Procurement and Finance, Timetabling, Data Protection.
9. Engage in professional development activities as appropriate and in line with the UofG Values
10. Be an effective team player who is cooperative, communicative and gains the trust and support of colleagues and partners through respectful collaboration and building consensus.
11. Perform other duties as requested, consistent with the grade level of the position and agreeing appropriate prioritisation of work with line management or other relevant stakeholders as needed.

2. Exceptional organisational skills
3. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook).
4. Knowledge of MyCampus, PIP, CMIS, Moodle, and T4 OR equivalent experience with similar systems would be advantageous
5. Demonstrable knowledge of the administrative delivery processes and procedures underpinning event management, delivery, and evaluation
6.Familiarity with equality, diversity, and inclusion policies, GDPR, health and safety and broader safeguarding approaches and policies.
