**Pharmacy Counter Assistant**

To work as part of a team offering high standards of service and customer care, from a welcoming and professional pharmacy. You must be willing to learn and will be required to complete training courses as required by the company. Initially this will be the Medicines Counter Assistant course if you have not previously got this qualification.

The role will allow you to take on responsibility whilst working as part of a team committed to delivering an excellent healthcare service to our community.

Your working hours will be 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturdays 9-1

Flexibility to cover holidays/sickness and additional hours as required for the business is expected from all applicants.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- To provide a caring, friendly and professional service to our customers.
- To establish customer loyalty.
- To maintain high standards of pharmacy appearance, through effective merchandising and housekeeping.
- To follow company security and cash handling procedures.
- To follow company Health & Safety procedures.
- To complete an accredited Counter Medicines training course, and any training required by the company to ensure a high degree of customer service.
- To maintain high standards of personal appearance and adhere to company dress code.
- To work as part of a team, to develop the profitability of the pharmacy.
- Respect confidentiality of information concerning customers in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£10.75 per hour
