Blossom Tree Day Nursery in Pineham Village, Northampton. NN4 9EH are looking for experienced Practitioners to join the team at our new purpose-built day nursery.

This role would suit experienced Practitioners with a minimum of 1 years-experience working with children aged 3 months - 5 years in a Day Nursery setting.

Hours: Various Shifts available

7.30am - 6.30pm - Monday to Friday - £26,000 salary

7.30am - 1.oopm - Monday to Friday - £13,650 salary

1.00pm - 6.30pm - Monday to Friday - £13,650 salary

Start Date: ASAP

Role and Responsibilities:

- Understanding of play-based approach to children's learning and development with a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) while maintaining a high quality, stimulating learning environment.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Committed to both your personal and the nursery’s development
- Excellent knowledge of child protection procedures.
- Able to follow directives given by senior team and work effectively to complete deadlines.
- Understand and ensure ratios are maintained.
- Ensure appropriate supervision of the children at all times.
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of Ofsted requirements and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Build positive and secure relationships between team members, parents/carers and children and outside agencies where appropriate.

Skills/Qualifications:

- Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Childcare Qualification
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a Day Nursery setting
- Relevant childcare qualifications in accordance with OFSTED guidelines
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS
- Empathetic, caring and friendly
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude
