Location**:Leamington Spa
**Shift**: Days - 39-hours per week
**Salary**:Up to £35,000 per annum, dependant on experience

**Buyer**is required for a manufacturer of automotive parts. They work through from design to production stage and work with many of the large OEM’s. As a **Buyer**your role will be to provide support to the supply chain management function, working with all business areas including engineering, sales, operations, quality and overseas where necessary.

This would be the ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to learn and progress within their career. This role would be suitable for a Buyer in the early stages of their career and is looking to step up and progress their career as a Buyer.

**Duties & Responsi
bilities of the Buyer:
Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing along with terms and conditions,
To source, select and purchase quality automotive products, materials and services,
Manage purchase requests and orders,
Analysing market trends and advising the business on risks and opportunities,
Monitor and review supplier performance in line with the quality function,
Obtain supplier qualifications and accreditations, maintain approved supplier list and support audits,
Supporting new business process with supplier RFQ generation and obtaining supplier price submissions.

**The ideal Buyer:
Experience working as a Buyer / Junior Buyer or similar, ideally within an Automotive or Manufacturing environment,
An understanding and appreciation of manufacturing processes would be beneficial,
You must have the ability to review and understand technical requirements such as engineering drawings, product specifications and contract requirements,
Strong IT skills,
Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with other members of staff and external stakeholders,
Proven experience with problem solving and negotiation skills,
Ability to be self-motivated and well organised.
