**Responsibilities**:

- An escalation point for incidents and operational problems.
- Staff career development and appraisals, providing on-going personnel feedback and training/development recommendations.
- Ensure a high level of physical security is maintained in line with ISO27001 certification and Information Security Management System, relating to 3rd parties employees within the Data Centre.
- Carry out Remote / Smart Hands activities on behalf of customers, 3rd parties and other technical teams in line with contractual requirements
- Arrange and undertake day to day rack and hardware IMAC (installs, moves and changes) within the Data Centre.
- Carry out regular visual checks of critical infrastructure such as CRAC units, UPS, generators etc.
- Be part of and administer an on-call rota to respond to incidents and perform out of hours tasks as required.

Qualifications:

- Experience in Team Leadership.
- Knowledge and experience of Data Centres and supporting infrastructure.
- Knowledge and understanding of the ITIL framework.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Client focused at all times.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Flexible attitude to work assignments, colleagues and learning new skills.
- Basic knowledge in hardware, software, networking, telecommunications.
