Previous customer service is essential, if you have worked in food retail or customer service before, it would be a bonus. You will be trained and supervised from the start date.

you won't need any experience in cake decorating as you will be trained and supervised from day one. **Experience of working in retail/kitchen could be an advantage.**

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Serving customers and handling cakes
- to make cakes with the team and decorate these
- Ensure compliance with all cash handling and card payments using an EPOS system,site security and administration policies and procedures
- Ensure the store is clean appropriately presented and stocked at all times
- Ensure the store complies with all relevant health and safety/ food hygiene legislation
- Taking daily fridge temperatures and other Safer Food Better Business processes
- Keeping a check on quality of cakes leaving the Store
- Complaint handling
- Liaise with the Senior Store manager, Area Manager and Head office
- Maintain store standards and food safety standards as per head office instructions
- Report any issues from Store level up to General manager, Area Manger & Head office
- Cashing up at the end of each day

16-17 = £6.80

18-20=£8.70

21 += £11.50

**Monday-Saturday 10am-7pm Sunday 11am-6pm working days would vary**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £6.80-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 23.5 per week
