**C#/.Net Developer**:
**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Services Director and working closely with the Product Owner and Senior Developer, support and the development team, the Orchard developer (OD) is responsible for business as usual development tasks. The OD will also be responsible for thedevelopment of new functions and features from the roadmap where required.

They should want to work in a business process orientated environment and solve genuine business issues within the manufacturing and distribution sector. They should have desire to learn new technologies and suggest improvements where needed.

**Key responsibilities**:
Working alongside the development team in Norwich and support in Manchester, the OD will be responsible for debugging issues raised through support and provisioning hotfixes where applicable with the focus on migrating our legacy Delphi product using React/ASP.NETCore API technologies. This will involve close contact with the support team in order to step through issues. The business as usual responsibilities will involve:

- Assist in migrating from Delphi to React/ASP.NET Core API
- Correcting issues within the existing business logic layer;.NET
- Correcting issues within the database layer; MS SQL Server
- Correcting issues within the existing front end; Delphi client

While business as usual will be the primary responsibility, the OD will also be responsible for working on roadmap items. This will include but not restricted to:

- Working with the React frameworks to build forms, grids and processes into the web version of the product
- Working in C# to modify functions and features where deemed necessary
- Working in Delphi to create new functions and features where deemed necessary

- Quantitative figures include but not restricted to; support calls closed, and Jira issues resolved
- Qualitative measures will be based around impact on the product and improvements made, alongside peer reviews

C#.Net (including.NET Core) - Essential

MSSQL (2005+) - Essential

UI libraries (e.g. React) - Essential

ASP.Net ­Core API - Desirable

Delphi - Desirable

Source code technologies (Git/TFS etc.) - Desirable

WCF - Desirable

Knowledge of ERP principles - Desirable

Good interpersonal skills and ability to be outspoken and suggest ideas to the team and corresponding stakeholders - Essential

Strong communication skills and customer facing experience - Essential

Ability to produce clear and concise documentation - Essential
