**The Role - Graduate Teaching Assistant Responsibilities**:
As a **Graduate Teaching Assistant**, you will:

- Work with **high-achieving students**, helping them prepare for **GCSEs and A-Levels**, giving them the best possible chance to secure places at **Russell Group and Red Brick universities**:

- Assist students who may be struggling with their studies by providing targeted interventions
- Work **one-on-one** or with **small groups**, tailoring support to individual learning needs
- Gain experience working with students with **Special Educational Needs and Disabilities**, which is particularly valuable for **Psychology and Education graduates** considering careers in **teaching, educational psychology, or child development**:

- Help to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, classroom management, and general academic support

**What We Are Looking For in a successful Graduate Teaching Assistant**:

- Graduates from leading universities such as **Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, King’s College London, LSE, Durham, Warwick, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, and others**:

- A strong academic background with a passion for education and supporting students

- Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching) is desirable but not essential
