This is an opportunity for a Ward Manager to join a highly skilled multi discipline team working in a private high dependency rehabilitation service based in Nottingham. Caring for males and females with enduring mental health conditions and personality disorder.
As a Ward Manager
- Manage resources effectively, ensuring that appropriate staffing levels and skill mix of nursing experience
- Rota Management for all nursing and care staff
- Arrange clinical supervision, appraisal, CPD requirements and complete mandatory training.
- Manage the clinical team identifying areas for improvement and acting on them
- Recognises positive performance
- Acts as a highly visible role model, mentor and leader, creating a culture that promotes learning,
- Ensure high levels of care and compliance.
- Management of care plans
- Responsible for nurse recruitment
- Develop strong relationships with clinical and non clinical staff inside and outside the hospital

Salary and Benefits for Ward Manager
- Salary of up to £48,500
- 37.5 hours
- 25 days holiday increasing to 30 with length of service + 8 bank holidays

- 2 years' experience working in a supervisory position managing nursing or care staff
- Experience working with secure or locked mental health
- Trained and current Assessor/Supervisor
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience of clinical audit and/ or service improvement based on evidence desirable
