The Best Connection are currently recruiting for drivers mates to work on a temporary ongoing basis for our busy client based in West Thurrock.

The hours of work may vary due to the nature of the work, **start times will be 6am or 7am **depending on the route.

**Pay for this position is £12 per hour. **On days where there is an earlier finish you will still receive 8 hours pay.

**Overtime is available and is at time and half (£18 per hour) **after 8 or 10 hours depending on the route.

We have shifts available Monday through to Saturday.

**Duties**:

- Working as part of a 2 person crew, assisting with deliveries to customers houses or clients sites.
- Physical work, will involve lifting heavy and awkward items weighing over 25kg.
- Manual handling training will be provided
- Using in house PDA systems to speak with customers to update them on delivery times.
- Being a banksman for the driver to help when parking up.

**Benefits & Requirements**:

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Induction Training
- Ongoing Assignment
- Overtime Available
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
- Training Provided
- Weekend Work
