**Service Engineer |Covering Kent/Surrey/Sussex/South London | Full Time | £24,000 to £32,000**

Chroma Vision was started in 2001 to restore a level of customer service to the security industry that had been so diluted, with customers being seen as just another entry in the sales ledger. The aim was to provide reliable and cost-effective support onsecurity systems, coupled with high standards of technical abilities and a firm commitment to customer service.

You do not need to be based in Kent to apply, this role is flexible and applicants from Kent/Surrey/Sussex/South London are welcome to apply.

**Are you the right person for us?**

You will be an experienced engineer with a bias towards public space CCTV and Access Control Systems with experience in
- Synectics Synergy 3 and other VMSs
- Wireless transmission - Ceragon, Siklu, Ubiquiti, Silvernet etc.
- Fibre transmission - ComNet, IFS, MicroTik, AMG, etc.
- Redvision, 360 Vision, Bosch, Hik, Hanwha
- Redeployable Camera Systems - WCCTV, RapidVison, COFDM
- Networking - Cisco knowledge - VLANs and configuration (training can be provided)

**You will have**
- Full driving licence
- The ability to pass vetting processes
- Strong people skills
- Collaborative working with the ability to work solo
- Leadership skills
- Initiative-taking with an ambition to achieve high standards
- Cooperative and willing to help others within the team

**What will your role as a Service Engineer look like?**
- Supporting engineers of all levels within the area
- Consulting with customers and the in-house administration team
- Updating the company’s service management system
- Conducting fault diagnosis, repair, and reporting
- Ensuring follow-up work is carried out
- Reporting to the line manager
- Conducting small site surveys and presenting findings to the area manager
- Ordering of stock and equipment
- Conducting risk assessments and conducting work safely including electrical works
- Time management
- Always maintaining a professional appearance and manner to meet client and customer expectations
- Promoting the image of the company
- Identification of any training requirements to enable you to conduct your tasks to industry standards
- Willingness to be included in the out of hours call out rota
