On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an **Asset Controller **on a **12-Month** contract based within the client’s site in **Bristol. **In this role, you will work amongst a multi-functional team to supply material in support of Typhoon operations around the World.

As an Asset Controller, you will work directly with key customers to understand their requirements and act on their behalf to ensure that their material needs are understood by the business. You will also ensure that timely updates are provided directly to the customer whilst working to balance demands internally recognizing the wider supply chain implications.

The Asset Controller role will be on a **hybrid** basis.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Coordinate the fulfilment of customer demand, from orders, through material allocation (new and/or repaired), distribution of parts, handling material returns & repairs and ultimately managing the delivery to the customer.
- Act as customer advocate for reporting parts availability, so that the impact on contracts can be assessed and understood. Engage appropriate supply chain resources to resolve issues by recovery action through prioritization and escalation to meet customer needs.
- As an Asset Controller you will be coordinating the movement of material for repair to ensure flow of assets to meet repair plans and maintain stock availability, providing status updates to key customers.
- Work with the SCC’s to ensure satisfaction of customer order requirements in the most effective and efficient manner, exploring internal and external solutions for repaired, used and new material to resolve supply issues whilst balancing cost, performance and delivery metrics.
- Ensure that the Company has stock in the planned locations, supporting committed customer service levels in line with forecast and requirements.

**Key Skills**:

- Ability to build virtual teams and influence decisions
- Good knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning processes and systems (especially SAP)
- Manage conflicting customer demands
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of manufacturing and customer facing businesses
