**Project Development / Mechanical Design Engineer**

**Nottingham**

**£30,000 - £45,000**

**Days - 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday**

Our client, a market leading manufacturer of aluminimum extrusions, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded design engineer to join them in Nottingham. Working within the Engineering team, this role reports to the Engineering Manager.

The role will particularly suit mechanical design engineers who enjoy varied and challenging work. A systematic approach to problem solving and be capable of working both in a team and without excessive supervision will be required. The ability to use initiativeis essential. The mechanical design engineer will be required to use and draw engineering drawings. They will be responsible for developing new products and procedures to ensure effective process control and output.

**Requirements**:

- HNC/ HND/ Degree or Time served apprenticeship in related field**
**- Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical design, tool design, or similar**
