We are working with a Housing Association based in West Sussex on an exciting opportunity for a Development Project Manager.
Full Time (37 Hrs)
£45000 to £50000 Per Annum (depending on experience)
Our client is Seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Development Project Manager who will be directly responsible for delivering their projects from new business appraisal stage through to completion on site and handover to our Neighbourhood Team and SalesAdvisor.
- Be able to source; appraise and negotiate new business opportunities using our financial modelling tool; consider risk mitigation measures and draft/present Board approval reports.
- Have experience of managing a range of new build development projects to successful handover on time; within budget and to a high quality finish
- Have demonstrable knowledge of planning process; building contracts and construction; financial controls; the housing market and legal process.
- Be a confident decision maker with the ability to assess risk; critically challenge information and make recommendations to overcome scheme issues and achieve resolution
- Be able to use your own initiative and act as an effective team member across the business
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Have sector experience of working in affordable housing or building construction with an understanding of delivering an excellent customer experience
