**Overview**

**Duties**
- Install roofing systems using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and flat roofing systems
- Conduct inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs
- Perform maintenance tasks to prolong the life of roofing systems
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing roofing materials
- Fabricate components as needed for custom roofing solutions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
- Follow schematics and blueprints to accurately execute roofing plans
- Adhere to safety protocols while working at heights and with heavy materials

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in roofing or a related construction field
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Familiarity with carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and heavy lifting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent physical fitness for working at heights and performing manual labour
- A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites
