The Fire Safety Services Delivery Manager will ensure Airbus maintains legal compliance with statutory fire safety regulations, Airbus procedures and their properties adhere to Landlords health and safety obligations. The role will be based at Airbus, Filton Site Bristol however other regional sites may become part of responsibility as the Fire Safety management system is developed. Salaray plus car allowance. Under the direction of the Director of Fire Safety, develop, implement and monitor safety policies, strategies and annual action plans. Undertake Fire Risk Assessments as required and develop timely action plans. Monitor and assist property teams with the timely completion of Fire Risk Assessments and remedial fire safety actions. Take ownership for fire/local authority enforcement action plans and engage relevant persons to ensure their timely completion. Ensure that suitable training, instruction and communication mechanisms are developed, and effectively delivered so that critical advice is relayed. Investigate and report on incidents, dangerous occurrences and near-misses, maintain records. Ensure RIDDOR incidents are reported. Liaise with the insurance provider in respect of claims, and produce statistics for managers, produce management reports,bulletins and safety alerts. Prepare monthly reports for the Director Fire Safety & Aviation on all Fire safety related matters, events and projects. General Fire and Aviation contingency support. Develop and maintain competencies which will allow deployment to support the wider business objectives of the Fire and Aviation Division which include, Aviation Fire & Security, Canine, Fire Safety, administration and ad hoc Branch support. Deliver results that meet or exceed agreed Business Plans. Growth of the Fire Safety Portfolio revenue and profitability through acquisition of new customers; expansion of existing contracts; minimizing contract reductions and losses; and appropriate price increases. Ensure regular meetings with customers, assessmentof satisfaction and compliance with contractual and SLA requirements. Capture of additional profitable revenue opportunities where these arise and do not impact core Portfolio service. Close monitoring and management of all direct costs to maximize efficiency at service levels appropriate to each contract; and development and sharing of "best practice" and use of systems and tools to improve margins Close monitoring and management of allindirect costs to ensure these match the requirements for the effective operation of the Area. Management of Risk through effective tender pricing; regular contract reviews and site assessments; and attention to credit collection. Ensure the effective delivery of all fire safety works are completed to a high level of customer satisfaction, to a standard of legal compliance. Assist in procurement of contractors for fire safety work. Ensure fire risk assessments, inspections and audits across the facilities contract, are undertaken. Prepare fire safety reports and statistical information for management, executive or board committees as required. Design and develop customer orientated fire safety awareness programs, to raise awareness of fire safety regulations. Work closely with all staff and operatives across the contract, providing technical advice and support Support existing and new Securitas Fire related contingency contracts. To actively participate and support the development of SSUKL through: Involvement in the development of the SSUKL strategy and its implementation through Critical Steps and other initiatives Support to other Areas and the SSUKL support functions by sharing best practice; and taking responsibility for specific National projects and customer or partner relationships as agree Essential Skills Minimum 3 years' experience within property management or similar sector Fire safety qualification, NEBOSH Fire Certificate or IFE Level 3/4 Certificate in Fire Science Health and safety qualification, NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Membership of a recognised professional body such as IFE, IOSH, IIRSM or similar, with demonstrable evidence of Continuing Professional Development Experience of managing or advising on fire safety at work in a medium to large organisation Experience in researching, developing, and implementing policy and strategy to meet business requirements Ability to conduct investigations into incidents or possible breaches of the RRO and/or health and safety regulations and report on outcomes in a timely and professional manner Working knowledge of building fire safety systems and M&E To be IT literate - specifically Microsoft Office and other software Must be capable of achieving CTC/SC clearances Desirable Skills Full member of the Institute of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) Technical/Member of the Institute of Occupation Safety Health (TechIOSH/MIOSH) or equivalent 3rd Party qualified risk assessor registered, as per FRA Competency Council Training and effective delivery related qualification Be familiar in using PAS:79:2012 format of fire risk assessment Must be physically fit and capable of taking part in rescue simulation and emergency procedures, wearing and using heavy equipment Securitas is an all-inclusive employer, and we encourage individuality within our company.
