**Salary**: £25,000 - £27,000 + Bonus

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands on manufacturing experience with supervisory/leadership experience, to take up a position with an expanding manufacturing business looking to introduce new production lines.

As a Team Leader, your time will be split between hands on assembly tasks, training and leading a small team and feeding back key information to management.

With the introduction of a new Production line, you will be given the opportunity to lead on set up and roll out of this.

**Duties**:

- Ensure line produces in line with production plan.
- Drive unit accuracy & ensuring product quality is within specification
- Work with colleagues to ensure all materials are available & shortages communicated.
- Review line performance throughout the day.
- Aim to achieve 100% compliance with daily production plan.
- Lead & Drive culture of Continuous Improvement on your line
- Produce, review and adapt SOP’s to any changes in manufacturing
- Regular training with operatives on your production line.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety & PPE policies
- Maintain good manufacturing process standards across your line

**Background**
- Excellent assembly experience
- IT Literate and able to communicate to all levels of the business
- A clear understanding of Health & Safety & quality standards
- Experience as a Supervisor within a manufacturing environment
- Technically minded
- Experience of training, mentoring and managing others
