Role
The Senior Warehouse Operative role is responsible for loading and unloading of shipments and supporting in all other day-to-day activities of the Warehouse.
The Senior Warehouse Operative will ensure high quality of delivery performance to all customers, in accordance with ISO9001 requirements. This is achieved through coordinating timely and accurate receipt and storage of stock, picking, packing and despatch of orders and the completion of all paperwork in line with warehouse processes.
The position involves providing annual leave cover for the Warehouse Supervisor, liaison with all members of the organisation, working particularly closely with the Operations, Sales, and Service Teams.
The position is critical to the organisation to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with delivery performance.
This role will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibility

Accept deliveries and complete goods-in paperwork

Ensure goods are stored safely and in accordance with product storage guidelines

Pick, pack, and dispatch orders

Timely booking of shipments

Maintain stock integrity and turnover

Inbound, Outbound orders

ERP system maintenance

Authorised Returns

Complete all relevant import/export documentation

Process credit claims

Ensure the warehouse is kept safe and well maintained
