Heathfield House is looking to add 2x 24hour contracts into our established Kitchen team.

We are a care service based in Ayr, and we provide a range of care and support services for our older residents, some of whom have dementia.

Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own

**Key Tasks**
- Clears and cleans tables after each meal service
- Ensures floors in dining room are swept and cleaned after each meal service
- Ensures all kitchen equipment, utensils and crockery are cleaned
- Set up morning and afternoon tea trolley
- Prepares sandwiches
- Ensures all food is stored correctly
- Food service
- Serving meals to residents within the dining room.
- Refreshing residents juice/water jugs in their rooms
- Serving mid morning tea/coffee and snacks to residents in lounges and in their rooms
- Clearing dining areas and resetting for next meal time
- Recording residents intake of food and fluids where required
- Understanding special dietary requirements for residents
- Assisting residents with mealtimes when required

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
