Job Title: Dietitian
Location: Covering all areas in London with hybrid working.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 22.5 hours per week with some flexibility on working hours. Some evening work is essential.

Centrepoint’s Health and Wellbeing team offers a range of tailored services to young people living across London from our 5 specialist teams; Dietetics Psychotherapy, Mental Health Advisors, Healthy Relationships Advisors, and Substance Use.

We are looking for a friendly, motivated and independent person who can work autonomously with support from the dietitians and the senior dietitian, to bring expertise to the dietetic team.

**The role**:
The primary role is working with homeless young people living in hostels in the South London area. The role provides an exciting opportunity to combine both clinical and public health skills. You will manage a small case load of clients with complex health needs to work towards their nutritional goals via virtual and face to face sessions. This will include talking to young people, collecting information and liaising with staff, and recording notes onto our online system.

You will also work on a number of public health initiatives to improve the diet and health of young people across Centrepoint, including addressing food insecurity and food illiteracy. The role includes collecting data for audits, and general administrative tasks.

In an integrated approach with housing, social care and support services you will work as part of a supportive and diverse multi-disciplinary team offering holistic care to vulnerable young people. You will ensure young people have access to advice, advocacy and support across a wide area of support needs.
- Registered with the HCPC, and a member of the British Dietetic Association.
- Experience delivering dietetic interventions
- Be able to utilise communication skills to build trusting and effective relationships with vulnerable groups, helping them to develop healthier lifestyles.
- Be able to work independently, and as part of a team, to engage people and implement health initiatives.
- Organised, energetic, adaptable, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting vulnerable young people.

You will work as part of a supportive and diverse multi-disciplinary team offering holistic care to vulnerable young people. The post holder will be instrumental in training student dietitians and assist in departmental research and evaluation.
